During past fifteen years there has been tremendous advancements in all Sections of diagnostic laboratory. These advancements include Immune phenotyping, flow cytometry, DNA testing including real time PCR, drug monitoring, high performance liquid chromatography [HPLC], fluorometry and cytogenetic technology. JSMU lab is most modern laboratory has keep pace with the new developments by establishing state of the art, quality assurance programs, so as to ensure high degree of precision and accuracy of results. I and my dedicated team make sure to provide the highest standard of diagnostic services complying with international benchmark of quality assurance. Jinnah Sindh Medical University has always been on forefront as a premier Health institute of the country. I would like to give an over view of this lab and provide useful patient’s information to clinical colleagues about the various facilities currently available in JSMU laboratory. I and my team are also very thankful to our vice chancellor to render full support in materialization and establishment of diagnostic laboratory.
